Terms & Conditions for Support, Warranty & Call-Outs

By submitting a support ticket, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Call-Out & Labour Fees
All call-out fees, travel costs, and labour charges for the removal or installation of components are payable by the client, even if the product is still under warranty. Warranty covers the component itself – not the service required to diagnose, remove, reinstall, or transport it.

  2. Manufacturer Warranty Only
All equipment carries the manufacturer’s own warranty terms. VICSA does not control, influence, or guarantee the outcome of any warranty claim. Approval, rejection, repair timelines, or replacement decisions rest solely with the manufacturer or their authorised agent.

  3. Assessment & Diagnostics
Any testing or diagnostics required to determine a fault may carry additional costs. These costs remain payable regardless of the final warranty outcome.

  4. No Liability for Delays or Outcomes
VICSA is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, or agents. We are also not liable for rejected warranty claims, extended turnaround times, or any losses resulting from downtime.

  5. Client Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate information and ensure proper access to the equipment. Any additional work required due to incomplete or incorrect information will be billed accordingly.

By creating a ticket, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms.

Support Terms & Conditions

By submitting a support ticket, you agree to the following terms:

Call-Out, Labour, Transport & Upfront Payment

All call-out fees, travel costs, transport, courier charges, labour charges, removal costs,
refitment costs, and installation costs are payable by the client, even where the product
is still under warranty. VICSA may require these charges, or a deposit, to be paid in full
before any inspection, removal, transport, submission, collection, refitment, or installation
work takes place.

Manufacturer Warranty Only

All equipment is subject to the manufacturer’s own warranty terms and assessment procedures.
VICSA cannot influence, guarantee, or override the outcome of any warranty claim. Approval,
rejection, repair timelines, repair methods, credits, or replacement decisions remain solely
with the manufacturer, supplier, or their authorised agents.

Assessment, Diagnostics & Third-Party Charges

Any testing, inspection, fault-finding, diagnostics, assessment fees, or third-party
evaluation charges may be billed to the client. These charges are payable regardless
of whether the warranty claim is approved, rejected, or unresolved.

Repair Quotations & Client Approval

Where a manufacturer, supplier, or authorised repair agent issues a repair quotation,
the client will be responsible for approving or declining that quotation in writing.
If the client declines the repair, or fails to make payment when due, VICSA shall not
be obliged to collect, return, reinstall, or further handle the equipment.

Storage, Uncollected Equipment & Non-Payment

If equipment is not approved, paid for, or collected within the period communicated by
VICSA or the third-party repair agent, storage, handling, administration, and additional
transport fees may apply. VICSA shall not be responsible for any costs, loss, delay,
deterioration, or disposal arising from the client’s failure to pay, respond, or provide
timeous instructions.

No Liability for Delays or Outcomes

VICSA is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, repair agents,
couriers, or other third parties. VICSA shall not be liable for rejected warranty claims,
repair delays, replacement delays, extended waiting periods, third-party storage fees,
or any losses arising from downtime or delayed return of equipment.

Client Responsibility

The client must provide accurate information, full fault details, and safe, reasonable
access to the equipment. Any additional work, travel, labour, or costs caused by
incorrect information, incomplete fault descriptions, unsafe conditions, restricted
access, or non-compliant installations will be billed to the client.

By creating a support ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted
these terms.
