Details

This compact hybrid system was designed to deliver reliable daily power and quiet backup performance for a modern home in Witbank.
At its core is a 6 kW Sunsynk Lynks Hybrid Inverter, configured for single-phase operation and optimized for smart load management. The Sunsynk’s built-in communication system automatically balances power between solar input, battery storage, and household demand — ensuring uninterrupted power during load-shedding or grid fluctuations.

The PV array consists of six 600 W Tier-1 monocrystalline panels, providing a total 3.6 kWp of solar generation. These high-efficiency modules deliver dependable performance and long-term durability, mounted on corrugated-roof brackets for secure, low-profile installation.

Energy storage is provided by three BSL 51.2 V (3U) 100 Ah lithium batteries, offering a total of 15 kWh usable capacity. The batteries feature integrated CAN-bus communication, allowing them to synchronize perfectly with the Sunsynk inverter for efficient charge control and system safety.

The installation includes comprehensive AC and DC protection, Keto battery disconnector with 160 A fuses, and precision cable routing for clean aesthetics and full SANS compliance.
All wiring, earthing, and isolators were professionally terminated and tested before handover, ensuring a stable, low-maintenance system built for long service life.

Commissioning concluded with certified inspection, safety verification, and full client walkthrough. The result is a compact yet powerful home energy system that keeps essentials running smoothly — day and night.
