This premium hybrid system was installed at  Zwartkop Golf Estate – Centurion, and is designed to deliver stable, uninterrupted power for a modern residential home.
The setup centers on a Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 inverter/charger, paired with a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 charge controller for precise solar regulation and battery protection.

Energy storage is handled by two Freedom Won eTower LiFePO₄ 5 kWh batteries, offering a combined 10 kWh usable capacity with full CAN communication integration for intelligent management and long-life cycling.
The solar array consists of JA Solar 545 W Mono PERC Half-Cell MBB panels, providing a high-efficiency PV array of ± 5.4 kWp to ensure optimal daily production even under variable light conditions.

System monitoring and control are achieved through a Victron Color Control GX with Wi-Fi module and VE.Direct communication cables, housed in a wall-mounted enclosure for neat cable management and ease of access.
The installation includes complete AC and DC protection, KETO battery disconnects, combiner box, lockable isolators, and certified earthing for compliance with South African electrical standards.

A Certificate of Compliance was issued after final inspection, confirming that the system meets all local safety and wiring regulations.
