This 10 kVA hybrid solar installation was designed for consistent, all-day energy production with intelligent battery management and seamless load control.
The system is powered by two Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 inverters, running in parallel to provide a stable 10 kVA output, ensuring smooth performance under both residential and light commercial demand.
Solar power is harvested from twelve 590 W Tier-1 monocrystalline panels, delivering an efficient 7.08 kWp array built for maximum yield and durability.
A Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/100 manages charging precision and system protection for high-voltage PV input, maintaining optimal efficiency even under fluctuating conditions.
Energy storage is handled by two BSL 51.2 V (3U) 100 Ah CANBUS lithium batteries, offering smart integration, over-current protection, and over 6 000 charge cycles of dependable power.
For safety, the installation features a Keto fuse disconnector, AC and DC protection boards with surge suppression, isolators, and circuit-specific safety hardware built to SANS compliance standards.
System intelligence is provided by a Victron Cerbo GX paired with a GX Touch 50 display, giving the client full access to live monitoring, energy history, and performance analytics via the Victron VRM portal.
All components were professionally mounted, tested, and certified with an official Certificate of Compliance (COC) upon completion.
